Under a contractual agreement signed last November, the 20% of the share capital of Magni Telescopic Handlers S.r.l. held by Zheijang Dingli Machinery Co. Ltd. is to be repurchased by the Magni family, which currently owns the remaining 80%.
The family, which has always had a controlling interest in Magni Telescopic Handlers, has decided to re-establish its total ownership by buying back the holding of Zheijang Dingli Machinery, which acquired a stake in the company in 2016, the year of the start of the technical partnership between the two companies which has enabled, thanks to the design development work by Magni Telescopic Handlers, the production of fifteen models of telescopic articulated platforms with operating heights from 16 to 34 metres (from 52 to 111 feet).
This decision does not imply any change in the existing relationships between the two companies about the supply of the Magni brand range of aerial platforms.
In fact, the partnership is intended to continue in the long term, both due to the multi-annual supply agreement between the companies and by virtue of the major achievements recorded in the last seven years.
Magni Telescopic Handlers is a company profoundly linked to its family identity and deeply rooted around Modena (Italy). This strategic choice of returning to the ownership structure at the time of the company’s incorporation in 2013 further reinforces the strong bond it has built up with its home district.
“Zero mileage innovation is the key to creating a company with sound values on the market. Our range of telescopic handlers, our aerial platforms, and the new production plant at Castelfranco Emilia express all the power of this concept: they reflect the symbiosis between our company’s core vision and our surrounding environment,” asserts Riccardo Magni, Chairman of Magni Telescopic Handlers.
